Favorite iPad tips recap  This might be the most useful ipad you've ever seen that's what i'm going for so i've got some fresh tips. Some techniques some accessories for you but first just to make this as useful as just really quickly i'm gonna recap some. The coolest most interesting useful that we've covered that relate to the ipad on this channel i've covered a lot. Some of my favorites have included double tapping the control button to quickly bring up voice dictation which i use constantly using the selection tool and apple notes to select. Things you've already written or drawn and then changing them to a new color airpods shortcut widget if you want a without going into settings for those who don't like automatic airpods of course i've introduced lots of mind-blowing productivity apps like muse the spatial thinking canvas. Which recently helped me plan my new note-taking app with the truly unlimited and the seriously unique task heat which...

When these new macbook pros got the travel imac because some of you might not know this but whenever i'd go for the past couple years to a tech. Imac pro put it in a huge pelican case and lugged it with me like there's countless times y'all would catch me rolling this huge box behind me through. The airport and that's because it's been the smallest machine that i could take with me to one of those events that could render and edit and export a video. Top Notch Design Now this apple silicon transition for and i think this is the first time i can truly say something is actually next, These laptops have been next level so these are the new 14 inch and 16 inch 2021 macbook pros and they're incredible for a number of reasons now at the end of the day they're just tools used to get a job done and the fact is everyone has a slightly different thing that they want to get done. So let's start on the outside so these laptops have a new top-notch design it still l...

Time of year where we've got a new version of android and all the fun stuff that comes with it now we usually have a name for the version as well it's usually named after a suite like marshmallow or kitkat or oreo jelly bean. Something like that uh i guess that got a little too crazy because now we're android 12. but this this feels like easily the biggest android redesigned to happen since maybe the beginning like i feel like i've seen a lot of visual changes to android over the years but, this is truly the biggest one because visually everything is different, literally everything i feel like i was actually kind of surprised when i saw. All these big changes because android's been you know maturing and you know doing little refinements and subtle tweaks over the years but i'm on beta 2 of android 12 here on this pixel 5 and both under the hood and on the surface. There's a lot to take in so i'm going to go through my top five biggest changes slash bigg...

So this is the ipad pro this is the m1 best ipad there is and i've been using this thing a lot for the last month or and i really like it and like a lot of other ipad users it's just really to use this ipad but i still wanted more from it because as you probably remember this thing is way more powerful than any. Software that's taken advantage of it like the m1 chip in here benchmarks higher than the 16 inch macbook pro there's 16 gigs of ram in this tablet and so it felt like it's finally time to ipad os and i wasn't the only one who that's coming up has got to be a pretty to what we have now in ipad os 14.5 like right maybe hopefully this is the year in this thing like final cut and this is. Super exciting because that's going to make this thing so incredibly powerful that it really is setting this ipad up some really amazing things maybe even that is me crossing my fingers now we're two days before wwdc 2021 where apple is. Expected to announce s...

Okay so you know those old games that used to be in newspapers that would be like spot the difference between these this really feels like one of those. So we have a new pixel phone ladies and gentlemen not the pixel six so this was the uh often rumored but definitely not yeah so they they announced that it wasn't cancelled but then they never gave us a real date for it and then they but now we've quietly got this new pixel you didn't forget about it did you so? The pixel a series has been great we already know what it's about right the great cameras great software overall continued that formula and there's is the pixel 4a 5g announced in september 2020 nearly a year ago and like i said it's like that game There are so many unchanged things this year-over-year refresh i've ever seen between phones in my life so here let's just go over all the things that are exactly the same okay so it's the same exact specs as last year snapdragon 765 same 12 megapi...

Then windows vista was not great but was great then windows 8 with the tiles and now windows 11 no pressure microsoft but this is your chance to break that we got a windows 11 reveal the newest next version of windows coming as a free. this holiday season to a pc near you now it's funny a lot of you probably know me as a mac user most of the time just. I've used a lot of macs here at the studio but that's not actually because for the most part at work because of an so i'm perfectly happy to spend time in windows all the time and so watching their unveiling event today i actually more compelled to react to this windows anything they've done over in apple camp. At the end of the day though it's just an operating system and you're gonna on it so we'll get to the app situation but there's plenty of interesting stuff now that they're doing here in windows so first of all the whole aesthetic is pretty dramatically so we got this new very glassy like t...

Sony's finally done it this mountain they've been climbing for all these years they've finally reached the top and they've created the most enthusiast. In the world more than any gaming phone i recently made a video on why people don't really buy that many sony phones they've doubled down on all of that. Things have become sort of a work of art so I've been using this phone for a long time and I'll be turning it off for about a month now and that's all you can think of it will make. They've done it sony's done it in this phone everything from the specs to the features to the details it's all here i mean you can start all the way from the top with the name it's the xperia one. Good luck explaining that to your normal friends and it was unveiled literally months ago in april so you'd only know about it now that it's quietly actually gone on sale because you follow enough. Tech blogs or youtube channels because you certainly won...

Now the thing I remember saying at the beginning of this whole foldables wave, is if we really want these foldables to catch on, if this really is the future of how smartphones could be. then the tech is gonna haveto get better and better to the point where folding in half is just another feature, right? There can't be huge compromises, or massive price tags, or awkward things about it, it has to just be one more thing. 'Cause at that point, you know, it's kind of cool that it folds, but that's when early adopters are gonna give it a shot and really see what it's about. But if you want everyone to be trying these things, it's gotta be just one more feature. It's gotta be a normal phone in every other way, except for the fact that it also folds in half. That's when it gets interesting. So at this phone, the Z Flip 3, the ambition's still pretty simple. Give us a regular phone for regular use, and then let us fold it shut into a sort of smaller form f...
